Are you curious to try traditional food the local way? Then, Qormi is one of the places to visit. Qormi is renowned for having the best freshly baked Maltese Bread, which locals call “Ftira” and delicious local doughnuts typically filled with jam or chocolate. Qormi has some of the oldest bakeries that played an important role during the Second World War by providing bread to Maltese families. The church squares and old narrow streets will give you a glimpse into Maltese village life.
Qormi is considered a non-touristic village and is rarely visited by tourists due to the lack of activities organised. Qormi is the ideal place for tourists to truly experience the typical Maltese village life. For this reason, Globaltravelbook seized the opportunity to create this unique experience for tourists, offering them to walk around like a local and eat like a local.
In a 3-4 hours walking food trail, experience the local cuisine, while walking through narrow streets, appreciating the churches and Maltese architecture. This town will definitely give you a taste of the true Maltese culture.

We started our trip with this tour and it gave us a great introduction to the food, culture, and wonderful people of Malta! We got to go to places we wouldn’t have otherwise found because they were not tourist attractions, but places the locals love. You are given behind the scenes looks at all the locations to learn about how the food is made. The food was delicious and we left the tour very full. Our guides were very genuine and kind people who do this because they love it. We would definitely recommend this tour
