Welcome to Lima, Peru’s bustling capital. Transfer to your cozy hotel and unwind. After settling in our hotel and rest, we will start the guided city tour: Lima and its surroundings.
This exciting adventure begins by picking you up from your hotel to head to Miraflores, where we will visit Love Park and contemplate the famous sculpture “El Beso” (The Kiss), accompanied by passionate phrases dedicated to love.
Our next stop will be the Huaca Pucllana, where we will be impressed by its pre-Inca pyramidal structures made of adobe bricks. Afterwards, we will head to the Plaza de San Martin looking for the statue of General Don Jose de San Martin, who was Peru’s liberator in 1821.
After that, we will walk to the Plaza Mayor of Lima. It is famous because Francisco Pizarro founded the beautiful city of Lima here. As a last stop, we will visit the Monastery of San Francisco to observe its catacombs which gather approximately 70,000 corpses.
To conclude our day, we will enjoy Peru’s most emblematic drink: the Pisco Sour. You can take a leisurely stroll through the historic center and savor your first taste of exquisite Peruvian cuisine at a local restaurants, perhaps trying zesty ceviche or savory lomo saltado.

Early pick up as we embark on the journey from Lima to Paracas, where we arrive at the port and have time to enjoy breakfast and use the restroom facilities. an exhilarating boat ride awaits for an excursion to the Ballestas Islands, where we can discover the natural beauty of these islands, a paradise of marine life on the Peruvian coast. During the navigation, we will observe sea lions, penguins, and exotic birds in their natural habitat, enjoying a unique experience for nature and adventure enthusiasts.
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, and a waterproof jacket due to logistical wait times.
After the sea excursion, we continue our journey to Ica, arriving at the Cultur Pisco Restaurant to savor a delicious lunch with an included menu.
Following lunch, we visit the Cultur Pisco Winery, where we will learn about the production process of pisco, the Peruvian grape brandy. Here, we will also have the opportunity to sample their products.
The day proceeds to Huacachina Oasis, quick check into our hotel to leave our belongings and straight to an adventure of a lifetime: sand buggies and sandboarding in Huacachina, where you can experience the thrill of racing across the sandy expanse and trying your hand at sandboarding. As evening falls, we capture the beauty of the landscape and the magical sunset.

We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then, we head to the dunes for a morning walk, enjoying the beauty of the sunrise over the desert. After the hike, we return to the hotel for check-out and departure to Ica.
Upon arrival in Ica, we begin a Ica city tour that includes a visit to the Plaza de Armas, where we can appreciate the local architecture. We continue to the Church of Señor de Luren, an important religious site, and then visit the town of Cachiche, known for its history and legends.
Afterwards, we head to a local winery, where we will have the opportunity to taste wine and pisco, learning about its production. After the tour, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, tasting typical dishes of the region. Finally, we board the tourist transport to return to Lima, where we conclude our tour upon arrival in the city.

Internal flight to Cusco: the Andes Capital. On arrival we are welcomed and transfered to hotel.
As a brief introduction to the city of Cusco, we will have a tour where we will visit the most important places. On our walking tour in Cusco, the transportation will take us on a 20 min. trip leaving us at the top of the White Christ from where we will have the best panoramic view of Cusco and its surroundings.
It is a perfect place to capture memorable photos, then we will visit the Aqueduct of Sapantiana, and we will take our classic photo in the SIETE BORREGUITOS street, we will visit the traditional artisan neighborhood of San Blas and it’s beautiful and magical little streets. After a few minutes we will also be able to see in our tour the stone of the 12 angles, we will arrive at the Plaza de Armas of Cusco declared “CULTURAL HERITAGE OF HUMANITY” by UNESCO where we will travel imaginary in time and learn the historical facts to the years before 1534 and after this date.
We will continue through the Plaza Espinar, along the Marqués street and finally we will get to know the local customs in the famous San Pedro market. Thus ending our tour full of historical, cultural and mystical grandeur.

We will start our great tour picking you up from your hotel to take you to the entrance of the Qoricancha’s Temple, also known as Temple of the Sun, an imposing Inca construction, which according to history served as a base of connection between the 4 of them (Antisuyo, Contisuyo, Chinchaysuyo and Collasuyu), a place full of energy that still holds mysteries and legends. It was later sacked and modified by the Spaniards, who built above the complex, the famous Convent of Santo Domingo, whose purpose was to show an authoritarian religious change for all the conquered Incas.
Then we will start the famous tour of 4 ruins. Starting with a visit to the famous fortress of Sacsayhuaman, which is located 2 km from the city of Cusco, an emblematic archaeological site for the use of huge stones in its construction, which was arranged with impressive precision. It is said that it may have had religious purposes due to the shape of its constructions and defensive because its strategic location shows a great view of the entire city of Cusco.
Our second archaeological site to visit is Qenqo, located 1.5 km from Sacsayhuaman, a center of Inca worship, as it has ceremonial and religious denotations of the Inca culture, in which we will observe carved rocks and small caves in which it is believed that rituals to the sun (main Inca deity) and payments to the earth were carried out.
The third Inca construction to visit in our Cusco City Tour is Puca Puccara is characterized as a fortress and a control post, for military purposes. Its size is not as large or elaborate, but it maintains its importance within the Inca context. Our last but not least site to visit in the Cusco City Tour is Tambomachay, a place that today is known for its fountains and water channels that according to research, served as a spiritual center and purifying baths exclusive to the Inca elite.
At the end of the visit to Tambomachay, we will return to Cusco’s city to end this great tour.

Early depart from Cusco towards Mollepata town (2900m) arriving around 08.00am in the morning for breakfast time. We will double-check last-minute supplies for the trek ahead and off we go.
The Salkantay Trek’s starting point is Challacancha. Our support staff (horsemen) will meet us there, approximately 40 minutes far from Mollepata, to load equipment on horses and mules. Once they have completed it, the Salkantay Trek adventure begins!
Trek past breathtaking valleys, eventually reaching your first picturesque campsite for a fresh Peruvian lunch. Along the trail, we will be surrounded by nature, other mountains covered with snow, and the Rio Blanco Valley.
After lunch, we trek towards the infamous and highly instagrammable Alpine Lake Humantay Lake, which is approximately 3 hours of walking. This is a turquoise and famous lake which is located in the foothills of the Humantay mountain. We will return to our camp before sunset, where the tents and a delicious dinner await you.

Wake up to the most amazing scenery around you. Today, nature will change dramatically from dry landscapes to snow-capped peaks and tropical zones.
After a nutritious breakfast, we will begin the most challenging part of the trek ascending to a place called “Salkantay Pass“, and without realizing it, we will walk between two spectacular snow-capped peaks: Salkantay and Humantay. After trekking and climbing for many hours, by midday, we will be at the highest point (4600 m.a.s.l.) of the Salkantay Trek.
From the highest point of the trek, we will be able to appreciate spectacular views of the mountain range; next to the mountains, rivers, and the imposing snow-capped peaks of this beautiful and important mountain range next to the snow-capped Salkantay (6264 m.a.s.l.) which is known as the second highest point of the Cusco region.
Afternoon fresh lunch in Wayraqmachay. Afterwards, we trek approximately 3 hours until we reach the camp in Chaullay (3920m). As we hike, you will have the opportunity to see exuberant flora and habitats change from pine to pre-mountain forest.

After breakfast and a beautiful sunrise, we will wtrek steadily to Playa Sahuayaco. In the cloud forest, we will pass through a village called Collpapampa. Here, we can observe waterfalls, fruit trees, varied flora, and many birds.
If we are lucky, we can observe a famous bird named the Andean Cock-of-the-Rock, the national bird of Peru. At Playa Sahuayaco, we will have lunch, and then hike for another couple of hours to reach Lucmabamba, our last campsite and the beginning of the Llactapata Inca Trail.

After breakfast we will embark on a gradual two-hour hike leading us to the captivating Llactapata, a remarkable archaeological site intricately linked to the Inca wonders of Machu Picchu and Sayacmarka. Our exploration of this fascinating Inca site will be followed by a descent towards Hydro-Electrica, which takes about one hour and forty minutes approximately.
Subsequently, a delightful three-hour trek along the railway tracks will usher us into Aguas Calientes, our destination for the night, where we will check into our hotel. In the evening, after securing our luggage, we will enjoy a communal dinner at one of the many inviting restaurants in the area.

Take the bus up to Machu Picchu at sunrise. Explore the awe-inspiring ruins with a knowledgeable guide, learning about Incan history and remarkable architecture.
Early in the morning, it is the time to visit the Inca city because it is quiet. You will have plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the sunrise over Machu Picchu with a few people walking around.
The company guide will show you around the citadel of Machu Picchu telling you about the history, temples, and most significant places of Machu Picchu. After that, if you still have a lot of energy and the entrances tickets, you could climb Huayna Picchu mountain. This steep mountain dominates Machu Picchu’s background. It takes 1 hour to climb Huayna Picchu and 1 to 1 ½ hours (depending on if you want to visit the Great Cavern) to return down.
Then, once you feel you have seen every corner of Machupicchu you will take a bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to have lunch. We usually take the bus around 1:00 p.m. The bus ride takes about 25 minutes and your guides will give you the ticket. It is recommended that before leaving Machu Picchu on the bus, the guides give you the time and location of the restaurant where the group meets in Aguas Calientes.
Finally, at the restaurant in Aguas Calientes after a delicious lunch, you will get your train tickets. Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, a company transport will be waiting for you.

Depart for a full-day trek to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). The drive takes you through picturesque valleys and scenic landscapes of Andean towns beside the Vilcanota river.
Our transfer will drop us at Phuluwasipata (4,626 m / 15177 ft). Start your hike to the dazzling mountain, witnessing its striking hues and awe-inspiring scenery through high Andean terrain, we will reach our final destination, Rainbow Mountain or Vinicunca (5,020 m / 16,466 ft). At this point, we will take time for about 30 minutes to contemplate the landscape, have a snack and soak up the mountains’ energy at this considerable altitude, over 5000m!
Afterwards, we will descend along the same path until we return to the trek starting point, where we will board our transport. After a short trip, we will return to the place where we had breakfast, but this time we will eat lunch there.
Finally, we will return to Cusco in the afternoon.

After breakfast, we will start our adventure on the Sun Route, towards Puno.
Along the way, we will make strategic stops to admire Andean legacy jewels such as the Temple of Andahuaylillas (3,121 m / 10,240 ft), Raqchi Peru archaeological site (3,502 m / 11,489 ft), Raya Pass (4,338 m / 14,232 ft), and the Lithic Museum of Pukara (3,910 m / 12,828 ft). In the town of Sicuani, we will have a fantastic lunch.
At sunset, we will arrive in Puno (3,812 m / 12,506 ft), on the huge shores of Lake Titicaca.

Our exciting 2 day Lake Titicaca tour starts by boat sailing Lake Titicaca. The first stop will take us to the famous Floating Islands of the Uros (3,812 m/12,506 ft).
Here, we will be warmly welcomed by the local inhabitants, who will share with us their fascinating way of life and their ancestral knowledge about the construction of these islands made of Totora reeds that grow on the shore of the lake.
In Uros, we will learn about the unique traditions of this community and their special connection to the lake. In addition to exploring their islands, we will have the chance to interact with the local inhabitants and learn about their art and handicrafts.
Our next stop is the charming Amantani Island (4,150 m/13,615 ft), where we will be greeted with a delicious traditional lunch prepared by the locals. Amantani is an island characterized by its natural beauty and its two peaks, Pachatata and Pachamama, which represent the father and mother cosmos. After lunch, we will ascend these peaks to enjoy panoramic views of Lake Titicaca and its surroundings. This is an experience that will connect us deeply with nature and local culture.
In the evening, our Amantani hosts will welcome us with a small event, we will enjoy dinner and then experience the authenticity of their culture and immerse ourselves in their hospitality. This will be an excellent opportunity to participate in traditional dances and learn more about their ancestral customs.

At sunrise, a delicious breakfast will delight your palate and recharge your energy to visit our next destination, Taquile Island (3,950 m / 12,959 ft). This beautiful island is world famous for its outstanding textile tradition and ancestral weaving art. The island has been recognized by UNESCO for its unique skill in the making of high quality textile garments which are mostly made by men.
The men’s skill in spinning, weaving and becoming masters has been inherited. On this day, you will have an opportunity to learn about the techniques and appreciate their impressive skill in creating textiles; and if you wish, you can purchase a textile or souvenir. After the tour, we will enjoy a delicious lunch on this historic island.
Before returning to Puno, we recommend you live the last moments in this magical place to the fullest, and we will also have time to take beautiful pictures. After a few minutes, we will board the boat for 2.5 hours towards Puno. Upon arrival in Puno, we will take you back to your hotel, ending this unforgettable experience on majestic Lake Titicaca.

Every particpant is required to make a travel insurance package which covers trekking up to 5000m. This is an absolute must.
We have 3 nights sleeping Al Fresco under the stars in 2-men tents. The trip includes fully catered camping and equipment (Mattress + Tents) for the expedition. You need to bring your own Sleeping Bag or Rent it. Tents are pitched by our team of climbing crew and porters, and disassembled also by the same team.
Full board meals are prepared for us by the climbing crew. Safe drinking water is provided for everyone.
As per WHO suggestions, it is recomanded to have shots of yellow fever, Hep A & Hep B, rabies and typhoid. Please call the Floriana Vaccination centre for more infos.
As we climb higher and higher, yes it gets very cold. The climb takes us from tropical climates to alpine climates, with varying temperatures between +25C and -10C. Refer to our recommanded Climbing and Equipment Gear list.
