Upon arrival at Tirana International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative and begin your journey to the historic town of Kruja. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Kruja, this charming destination is renowned for its rich history, traditional bazaar, and its connection to Albania’s national hero, Skanderbeg. As you travel through the scenic Albanian countryside, enjoy your first glimpse of the country’s culture, landscapes, and heritage before arriving in this fascinating medieval town.

After breakfast, depart from Krujë and journey towards Montenegro, enjoying spectacular landscapes as you cross the border and travel to the charming lakeside village of Virpazar. Optional Activity – Sari Salltik Hiking Experience
For active travelers, an optional morning hike to the sacred mountain of Sari Salltik offers a rewarding outdoor experience. The trail is considered easy to moderate and takes approximately 1.5–2 hours round trip, covering a distance of around 4–5 km. The route follows scenic forest and rocky paths with some gradual uphill sections.
Situated at approximately 1,176 meters above sea level, Sari Salltik rewards hikers with breathtaking panoramic views over Krujë, the Adriatic coastline, and the surrounding mountain ranges. The trail leads to the renowned Bektashi sanctuary and the Cave of Sari Salltik, an important spiritual and cultural pilgrimage site in Albania.
Comfortable walking shoes, water, and sun protection are recommended. After the hike, enjoy some free time in Krujë before meeting your driver for the departure transfer to Tirana International Airport.

To secure your spot you need to send a €600 deposit either via bank transfer or our online payment system after completing the booking form. Second payment of €600 is required by 10/7/26 and final payment is due on 15/08/2026.
If you choose to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing on explore@globaltravelbook.com as soon as possible. Upon cancellation, we will assess any recoverable amounts and provide a refund of funds that we have not yet paid, or are not contractually obligated to pay, to third-party suppliers (including but not limited to airlines, hotels, transport providers, and activity operators).
Please note that many components of group travel are prepaid and non-refundable. As such, the closer the cancellation is to the departure date, the lower the likelihood of recovering any funds.
Travel Insurance Requirement: We strongly require all clients to obtain comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Standard travel insurance policies typically provide coverage for trip cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (subject to policy terms and conditions). As we cannot assume liability for cancellations, failure to obtain adequate insurance may result in financial loss.
