Why you should join our trip to Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar:

Join a fun and like-minded group trip with Michelle from ‘Cheeky Passports’ on a 12 day journey to Tanzania including 4 days on the beautiful island of Zanzibar. During the Safari we will visit 3 areas: (i) Tarangire NP (ii) Serengeti NP (iii) NgoroNgoro Crater.

During our time in Zanzibar, we will be staying at Nungwi, one of the best beach destinations on the island. Nungwi is famous for its crystal-clear water and powdery white-sand beaches, and unlike beaches in other areas of Zanzibar, the minimal tide differences make it a swimming destination at all times of the day.

Nungwi beach is also home to a vibrant nightlife and the various restaurants offer a wide range of cuisines.

Our hotel is located 700m away from the beach, making it ideal for those who would like to spend time at the beach by day or night, but also for those would like to enjoy the peace and quiet of a relatively secluded  location.

The season

The best time to visit Tanzania is during the Dry season, from June to October, when wildlife viewing is generally at its best. This is also the best time to see the wildebeest migration in Serengeti National Park.

  • Animals are easier to spot since they concentrate around waterholes and rivers
  • There are fewer mosquitoes because there is little to no rain
  • Skies are clear and most days are sunny

Accommodation Pricing:Accommodation in Zanzibar, Arusha and Nairobi will be the same for everyone, however, during the Safari, there are two options which affects the price:

Campsite option (only during Safari) – Safari camps are set up in designated areas with showers and toilets. Camping equipment will be provided and a guide and chef will also be present  – 2550

Lodges (During Safari)  – Lodges provide a more comfortable accommodation option compared to camping, with comfortable rooms and en suite bathrooms. They are usually located in a wild, spectacular setting and some lodges even provide wifi. – €3250

A list of accommodation will be provided to you before booking.
