Private Tour – Snowmobile Photography Trip to Hunt the Auroras

When trying to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, it’s best to get away from the city lights that make the auroras less visible; and one of the best ways to do this is by snowmobile! It is adventurous and also allows you to enter areas inaccessible by cars.

While you are driving the snowmobile, you will be accompanied by professional photographers, who will assist you with both setting up your camera and taking pictures for you with their own high-quality cameras. Sit around the fire, and enjoy a traditional reindeer sausage and hot blueberry juice.

Our photographers will help you with settings, composition, and lighting for you to take the best picture. At the end of the tour, you will be able to keep all the HD pictures taken by our photographers.

You will ride the snowmobile in pairs (twin riding), a driver and a passenger on each snowmobile, with the opportunity to switch during the ride. Before the tour you can buy a solo driving option.

Ranua Zoo Visit

After getting off the private van, get ready to meet more than 200 species of Arctic animals, including the famous forest reindeer, wolves, arctic foxes and polar bears. You will also have the possibility to see different types of owls that are difficult to see in the wild.

Stop at the forest park in the middle of the route for lunch. After fulfilling your day with a lot of memories, we will take you back to Rovaniemi and drop you off at your hotel.

Join this expert-led, private excursion to see nature’s finest light show. Take part in a chase where the destination changes depending on the best chance of seeing the lights.

Sometimes the drive will be out to the coast, sometimes inland, and other times past three fjords up to the Finnish border. The final decision is left as late as possible to maximize your chance of seeing the majestic lights dancing in the sky.

Hop in the van and meet your group and expert guide. After finding the perfect spot, settle in and wait for the brilliant colors of the Northern Lights to appear. Your guide will help you adjust your camera so you can take the best photos of them. Enjoy some hot drinks and biscuits while keeping an eye on the sky.

Our guide will come to pick you up at your accommodation and drive you to the Airport. Your flight is waiting for you to take you back home with plenty of unforgettable memories.

The majority of guests joining our trips are solo travellers. Through meet-ups, events and our facebook community you will get to know the group before meeting at the airport. You could get a single room at an additional charge, however, meeting up with the group beforehand could give you the opportunity to meet someone and decide together to share a room.
