Your adventure begins upon arrival in Tirana, where you meet your tour guide and head north. The journey starts with a true local highlight: a farm-to-table dinner experience at Mrizi i Zanave, paired with local wines straight from the vineyard.

Mrizi i Zanave is Albania’s most famous traditional restaurant, where you’ll savour authentic local dishes prepared with fresh ingredients sourced directly from the farm. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting featuring labels produced from the restaurant’s own vineyard.

After dinner, continue your journey to Shkoder, one of Albania’s most charming cities, where you settle into our hand- picked hotel.

Today you venture deep into the Albanian Alps, driving through dramatic mountain landscapes with panoramic stops along the way. Crossing the iconic Qafë Thore Pass, you reach the remote village of Theth. Here, you explore traditional landmarks, hike to the stunning Grunas Waterfall, and continue through lush forest trails to the magical Blue Eye.

OPTIONAL: Ziplining – Thethi Zipline offers an exciting experience perfect for adventure lovers and nature enthusiasts. This 1200-meter zipline ride offers a breathtaking way to explore the stunning Albanian Alps from above. As you soar through the air, you’ll take in amazing views of the majestic peaks, the winding Theth River, and the picturesque traditional houses that dot the landscape. This thrilling ride combines the rush of adrenaline with the serene beauty of nature.

After a full day immersed in nature, you return to Shkoder.

Drive to the heart of Albania’s wild landscapes at Komani Lake. From here, you embark on a 90- minute breathtaking boat journey through fjord-like scenery towards the Shala River. Reach the end of the river and explore the wild nature of the area in Zgiboze, referred also as the Thailand of Albania

Spend the day swimming, relaxing, and exploring this untouched paradise — or opt for a guided kayak adventure to get even closer to the cliffs and hidden corners.

Embark on an unforgettable guided kayak adventure along the stunning Shala River, beginning with a private boat transfer to the kayak center in the heart of the river. Paddle through crystal-clear waters for approximately 2.5 hours, exploring dramatic fjord-like landscapes, hidden caves, and reaching the scenic area of Zgiboze. After the activity, enjoy 2–3 hours to relax by the river or further explore the untouched surroundings before returning by private boat to Komani Port, with a short coffee stop in Vau Dejes along the way.

Return to Shkoder after an unforgettable day on the bluest waters.

Enjoy free time in the evening to explore the vibrant and colorful streets of Shkoder.

After breakfast at the hotel, we head further north into one of Albania’s most scenic regions.

The drive itself is an experience, passing through Tamara, Selce, and along the Cem River with multiple photo stops. Arriving in Lëpushë, you begin a rewarding trek to Vajusha Peak, offering some of the most spectacular panoramic views in the country.

Vajusha Peak, standing at 2,057 meters in the Albanian Alps, offers a 4hr moderate to challenging trek with incredible panoramic views of the Accursed Mountain Range. The roughly 3–4 hour ascent passes through forests, meadows, andkarst landscapes, often considered a gem of the region.

After the hike, return to Shkoder for your final evening.

After both activities end, enjoy lunch in Shiroke, a small town by Shkodra lake. The day proceeds with a cultural visit to Rozafa Castle followed by relaxation in Shiroka village. After lunch by the lake, you head back towards the airport with a final stop in Kruja, where you can explore its historic bazaar and castle before departure.

You don’t need to be a hardcore trekker, that’s for sure.

It is important to note that there is moderate hiking on this trip. Please ensure you are in decent physical condition and able to walk for extended periods of time.

Accomodation will be hand selected 4* hotels. The price includes accommodation in a shared private twin or double room, however, if one wishes to have a private room that sleeps (1 person) this is possible at an additional cost of  €160

Breakfast daily is included in the cost of the trip.

We will also include a traditional welcome dinner + wine tasting on our first day.

Every client is required to make a travel insurance package. Make sure it covers all the activities that you will choose to participate in. 

As of 2026, Albania does not require any special vaccinations for entry for most travelers. However, some routine and recommended vaccines are advised for safe travel.

All countries require a valid passport (with a minimum 6 months validity).
