Ararat is the highest peak in Turkey and the Armenian highlands with an elevation of 5,137 m. It dominates the Turkish skyline with its twin volcanic cones—Greater Ararat and Little Ararat (3,896m). Spanning a vast 35 km-wide base, the massif has inspired explorers for centuries, and has held deep cultural and spiritual significance since the Middle Ages.
“Nothing but praise for MexVentures – the training provided, information meetings, and equipment recommendations leading up to the expedition. For the expedition itself, accommodation packages before and after the mountain were amazing; the professional team of guides/porters; and other optional excursions organised during free time. The experience was excellent from start to finish, highly recommended for experienced trekkers and even those with limited experience!” – Read More
