Day 1Arrival in Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel for a short safari briefing before setting off toward Tarangire National Park, with lunch served en route.

In the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its vast elephant herds, striking baobab-dotted landscapes, and rich wildlife diversity. Keep your eyes open for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, kudus, impalas, and over 500 species of birds that call the park home.

Day 2Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart early for the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. Enjoy scenic game drives along the way with lunch served en route.

During the day, you will take a cultural detour with a visit to a traditional Maasai Boma (approximately 1 hour), where you’ll experience the customs  and way of life of the Maasai people.

Upon arrival at Serengeti’s park gate, complete registration formalities, then continue with a game drive as you make your way to your camp or lodge in the Central Serengeti, surrounded by the endless plains and abundant wildlife.

Day 3Serengeti National Park

Wake up to the sights and sounds of the wild and enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a full-day game drive across the sweeping plains of the Serengeti. With a packed picnic lunch, you’ll have the flexibility to explore deeper into the park in search of its incredible wildlife.

Throughout the day, keep your camera ready for sightings of lions lounging in the sun, cheetahs scanning the horizon, elephants ambling gracefully, giraffes feeding among acacia trees, and hippos wallowing in rivers. The park also hosts an astonishing variety of birdlife, from colorful lilac-breasted rollers to majestic eagles.

In the late afternoon, return to your camp or lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an evening under the Serengeti’s star-filled skies.

Day 4Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, capturing the last glimpses of its breathtaking landscapes and wildlife. With picnic lunch en route, begin your journey southeast toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

In the late afternoon, arrive at your lodge perched in Ngorongoro, where you’ll be welcomed with sweeping views of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Dinner and overnight at your Ngorongoro accommodation, as you prepare for tomorrow’s descent into the crater, one of the greatest natural wonders of Africa.

Day 5Full Day at Ngorongoro National Park

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most spectacular safari destinations.

Enjoy a full-day game drive across the crater floor, spotting lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and a variety of birds. Pause for a picnic lunch amid the stunning landscapes before continuing your wildlife exploration.

What age is best for kids to join a safari?

Most lodges recommend children be at least 5–6 years old to fully enjoy the experience, though some accept younger children. Safaris can involve long game drives, so older kids tend to get the most out of it. 

Is a safari in Tanzania safe for children?

Yes, absolutely. Safety is always our top priority. Parents are always briefed on safety rules around wildlife to ensure peace of mind throughout the trip and a local guide will be with you at all times. 

Can the itinerary be customized for families?

Absolutely! All our packages are 100% customizable. We can tailor:

Are any vaccines required to enter the country?

No vaccines are required for entry. However, it is strongly recommended that you consult your doctor or the Immunisation Centre in Malta before travelling. They can advise you on any recommended vaccinations or preventive measures to help ensure your safety and wellbeing during your trip.

How do we travel between destinations?

You’ll travel comfortably using:

  • Private 4×4 safari vehicles with window seats and pop-up roofs for game viewing.
  • Domestic flights between safari regions and Zanzibar.
  • Private transfers throughout your journey for convenience and flexibility.

What is the accommodation like?

All accommodation apart from the safari will be the same for everyone, however, during the Safari, guests have two options:

Budget Lodges (Safari Only) – €2850
Simple and comfortable lodges, offering basic amenities and a good night’s rest after a day of game drives. Conveniently located near park entrances or scenic wildlife areas.

Midrange Lodges (Safari Only) – €3550
Comfortable lodges with en suite bathrooms, often set in spectacular wildlife locations. Some offer extra amenities such as Wi-Fi, providing a more relaxed and convenient safari experience.

How about food?

The lodges will provide meals to their guests. Zanzibar is home to a vast range of cuisine, and Italian food as well as seafood is especially prevalent on the island.
